I don't even know what to type.. or even try to explain what I just witnessed/read...
but WOW! Itachi-sama.. you... you really loved Sasuke from the bottom of your heart didn't you..?

The latest Naruto Chapter just came out today.. and.. I cried.. twice.. and I NEVER cry while watching anime/manga(well rarely)..

*breathes* Okay well.. besides Madara's explanation about how he met the first Hokage and his fight with him and war and unimportant stuff(well important to the story line but not to my choice of topic)..
Itachi was... order to kill off the remaining Uchiha clan from the village elders and Danzo(Anbu's leader).. Apparently the Uchiha were feared by the elders and most of the village becuz they had rebelled before and almost caused another war.. in order to get rid of what seemed to have been a threat on konoha.. the Uchiha were killed.. leaving only their assassin and his little brother.. but Itachi was also ordered by his fellow Uchiha and his own father to keep tabs on the elders.. he was a 'double agent'..
You see, the Uchiha clan actually WERE planning to take over the village from within the village walls.. and Itachi and Sasuke's father, was the ringleader in the Uchiha rebellion.. Itachi was now forced with a very difficult choice.. to withhold his honour to the Uchiha and obey their orders and join them in taking over Konoha which would surely cause uproar and eventually lead to war and even Konoha's demise.. or to exterminate the threat and avoid ALL unnecessary fighting and bloos shed.. for a 13 year old you can only IMAGINE what kind of turmoil he was in.. but even after he made his decision.. the was still one problem.. Sasuke.. he was WAY to young to get caught up in all of this..
When Itachi was only 4 he had already knew what war was first hand.. seeing people die at his feet.. hearing screams and cries his everyone who was around him and not knowing what was going on.. he was traumatized for life.. and knowing what all this felt like Itachi defiantly did NOT want his younger brother to go through the same.. so in spite of his desperation to keep Sasuke in the dark about what was REALLY happening behind the closed doors of Konoha, Itachi first begged the elders and the third Hokage to NEVER tell Sasuke about what had happened.. but after threating Danzo he was soon forced out of the village....
By killing off the rest of the Uchiha and leaving Sasuke the only one alive gave Sasuke a meaning to live.. or rather a purpose or reason to become stronger.. bent on revenge, knowing true hatred and having nothing else to do but train and fight made Sasuke even STRONGER than Itachi could ever be.. And that was Itachi's desire.. the day Itachi left the village he knew that Sasuke would become strong enough to kill him.. he left with the image of his own death.. all becuz he cared THAT much for Sasuke.. keeping him in the dark, giving Sasuke a reason to hate and destroy Itachi in result for making himself stronger.. It was all apart of Itachi's plan... sad really.. to be faced with killing you family to protect the rest of your village from war and blood shed, then to leave your own village replying on your younger sib to finish off what the village could not.. Tis extremely sad..
I had always known that Itachi.. leaving only Sasuke alive and giving him reason to live.. he cared.. even before Itachi killed the Uchiha.. He was ALWAYS "GOOD".. just not in the eyes of the unknowing..But still.. I would have NEVER imagined that Itachi cared THAT MUCH for Sasuke.. Now? I actually feel deeply sadden that Itachi is now dead.. but.. it was fate after all..
